Hanania expands show
Former Sun-Times reporter turned radio host Ray Hanania is expanding the scope and reach of his local weekday morning show on WJJG-AM (1530). Starting this Friday, and every Friday thereafter, Hanania will partner with radio host Laila Alhusinni at WNZK-AM (690) in Dearborn, Mich. to simulcast an hour-long show called "Radio Baladi" from 7 to 8 a.m. local time on Fridays. "Baladi" means "our country" in Arabic. The hour-long program will focus solely on Middle East-related topics. Dearborn is considered the epicenter of a large American Arab community in the region.
